At 15 I was in a working band called DymeHorse that played in venues and restaurants in the Hartford CT. area.I was also in the School Jazz band. I assisted  in some classical Guitar masterclasses as well.I am well versed in either acoustic or electric guitar and worked and taught steadily until I toured with an established country band that took me on the road for close to 2 years in the eighties.
When I returned to Portland my band performed for 65 thousand people on Munjoy Hill 4th of July celebration 1985.During this time I also attended University of Maine at Augusta and studied performance and theory.I was the guitar instructor at Daddy's Junky Music from  2008 to 2012.

I am heavily influenced by John McLaughlin, Al Dimeola, and Jan Ackerman.

In the many gigs I have played  with my own band these were some of the people who honored  us by sitting in.
